As the marketing manager for VTM Group, Katherine is responsible for planning, development, and implementation of marketing and communications strategies for all of VTM Group as well as individual business units. By driving both external and internal messaging, her role manages VTM’s well-earned position and reputation in the industry.
In addition, Katherine provides association management services to VTM clients within the Initiatives & Alliance division, where she began her career with VTM in 2006. In this role, Katherine provides strategic counsel and directs day-to-day operations for a variety of initiatives. Her contributions to clients stand as best practices within the VTM Initiatives & Alliances department, and are responsible for her prior appointments as executive director for organizations including AVnu Alliance®, HomeGrid Forum® and DASH Industry Forum as well as her five-year role managing the PCI-SIG®.
Katherine earned an MBA from Villanova University with an emphasis in both Strategic Management and Data Analytics, in addition to a BA in Public Relations from Gonzaga University. She is an active member of the American Marketing Association, the Oregon Society of Association Management, and the American Society of Association Executives.
